So this all started with me trying to find a retailer of Korean Yugioh cards… I wanted to see if there was anyone offering booster boxes for less than the $22 for Blue Eyes White Dragon boxes on Amazon.com.
And sure enough, GodofCards.US popped up with a sale price of $15 for Korean Metal Raiders booster boxes. Yay! That was too good to resist. Especially when you realize Metal Raiders currently sells for $27.
I ordered six boxes, possibly their last six, and received them a week later. They were perfect booster boxes that were unweighed and undamaged. So I got them cheap and I got them perfect, what’s not to like!
But then things went a bit weird.
I went back to GodofCards.US to see what else they had available and was met with a message saying the website was offline. That message persisted for months. I actually emailed GodofCards.US’s support email address and was told the website would be back up in a few days. So go figure.
I have gotten no explanation for the website being down for so long.
However GodofCards.US is now back online but funny enough is sold out of virtually everything. I honestly have no idea what they’re doing. They seem to be primarily a German website and perhaps their US expansion just is not going well?
But what’s good to know is that they still have a good TrustPilot score and seem responsive. They’re rated 4.8 out of 5. So they’ve obviously got something going for them.
They just don’t have that going for their US website yet.
