Elon Musk Forgets That Population Density is a Thing

Apparently Elon Musk forgot that population density is a thing. Elon Musk has recently retweeted a post of a map of the United States showing which counties voted Democrat or Republican. The map looks majority red but that’s actually irrelevant.

It’s called population density you moron.

It’s irrelevant because that map ignores population density. The areas that are blue contain a heck of a lot of people that voted Democrat. There were a total of 70,000,000+ Democrat voters in the United States this year after all.

A good amount of those red counties are rural and contain fewer people than blue counties. The population of Wyoming is only 584,000 for example but Wyoming is the 9th largest state in America, representing a good chunk of the map. And the United States also has a ton of people living near the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. I mean it’s just demographics.

It’s silly to think that a number of counties that lean Republican represent the views of the entirety of the United States. They don’t nor should they. The reality is the President of the United States should be elected directly by popular vote by the American people. The electoral college is not ideal.

Elon Musk is once again proving how out of touch he is with reality. His obsession with things like “the woke mind virus” and the death of his “son” to it are absurd. I do not understand why anyone bothers to listen to him. It’s just one big circle jerk on Elon’s account. Nobody listens to outside views it’s just endless extremism.

I suppose everyone listens to him because he’s rich and they hope that by kissing butt and following every word Elon says they too will become rich. It’s the same thing that has catapulted Tesla to a $1 trillion valuation, a bizarre Church of Elon Musk.

Anyway, you cannot judge a book by its cover. There’s more to US politics than a colored in map.
