GameStop.com has a $20 off, so $60, Charizard Super Premium Collection available for Black Friday. I doubt this will be GameStop’s only Black Friday deal on Pokemon trading card products and toys but this is what has dropped for Thanksgiving morning.
You can find the deal on the product page here: https://www.gamestop.com/toys-games/trading-cards/products/pokemon-trading-card-game-charizard-ex-super-premium-collection/412953.html
The Charizard Box includes:
- 1 foil promo card featuring Charizard ex
- 2 foil cards featuring Charmander and Charmeleon
- 1 card-display figure featuring Charizard
- 10 Pokémon TCG booster packs
I’m kind of guessing this is not out of GameStop’s generosity but rather because the Charizard ex Collection is not selling well. It’s not really the best deal ever is it. I get some people like the statue of Charizard but it’s not like every single person wants one for their desk.
From a booster pack perspective this deal sucks. The boosters are costing you $6 each. Yes you get other stuff but we’re focused on booster right now. This compares to Target’s $3.50 Paldea Evolved mini tin box booster packs. You’ll definitely want to ditch the Charizard box if you’re looking for value.
It should be noted that if you do want your own Charizard you need to hurry your butt up and order. Deals this Black Friday on any and all Pokemon products are going to sell out in no time at all. You do not have time to go and be with family. It’s order now or order never.
Sadly that’s the society we now live in. If you want or need a discount you’re going to have to compete with the entire damn country for a limited amount of product. And no it can’t wait until after Thanksgiving. If you want to give thanks you can screw off.
But hey whatever. As long as Target and Walmart and Amazon get their money who cares. This has been an inspirational message brought to you by The Black Friday Deals Corporation.
