GameStop’s PSA find a store buttons on its website are no longer functioning. You have to wonder if this is because GameStop does not want to yet reveal which stores are closing. You got to remember the other rumor is that stores that are no longer accepting PSA submissions are the ones closing.
I will have to check back later to see if the buttons still don’t work and will have to do some digging to see about which stores are taking PSA submissions. But the fact that the buttons aren’t working near the announcement for store closures feels suspicious.
I don’t know what’s going to happen, but GameStop doesn’t seem to be as transparent as it could be. And considering they have $4 billion in cash you’d imagine they’d be in less of a hurry to close as many stores as they’re rumored to be closing. But whatever. The GameStop C suite seems to be disinterested.
Check back later for more information.
