Prismatic Evolutions will be getting a number of restocks through 2025 but will not be getting a big reprint until the end of the year. This is because the printing schedule was probably set in advance over a year ago, with waves of Prismatic Evolutions product planned for a sustained release over the next year. The schedule probably does not change just because a set is in higher demand.
The actual printing for Prismatic Evolutions was / is most likely done in a ‘block’ format where a set amount of time is given to do a number of print runs to meet whatever quota The Pokemon Company set. The finished product is then distributed in waves to stores through distributors which can make it look like Prismatic Evolutions is getting a reprint.
As far as we know, Prismatic Evolutions just like 151 won’t get a meaningful reprint until a new product like Blooming Waters is created. And even with Blooming Waters we don’t actually know that the 151 booster packs were new and not just from storage. The same will be true of Prismatic Evolutions.
Okay anyway the point is when Prismatic Evolutions product shows up at stores, it’s safe to assume it’s a restock and not a reprint. I’ve flip flopped on this several times now but I think I’m right about not getting a Prismatic Evolutions reprint until the end of the year.
