The upcoming Team Rocket set for the United States market will NOT be The Glory of Team Rocket and will not solely feature Team Rocket cards. Which is fairly disappointing. I was genuinely hoping for a Team Rocket redux. Those black colored boosters were a staple of my childhood and brought some more interest to the card game.
However they hype for the set seems to have remained the same… the level of hype for this set is insane. It’s going to be even worse than Prismatic Evolutions scalper wise. Even with retailers implementing restrictions on purchases scalpers are just going to bribe employees to do backdoor deals, which has apparently become somewhat common with Prismatic Evolutions.
Regardless, I’m betting anyone who is lucky enough to get the Team Rocket set are really going to enjoy it.
