So for maybe the 20th time Walmart.com has sold through its inventory of Pokemon 151 booster boxes! This time in a handful of hours. Which is impressive.
Demand for Pokemon 151 seems to remain strong.
Now these boosters are sold and shipped by Walmart, they don’t have the same problem Amazon does of people receiving product that has already been opened, and sometimes you can even get an unopened case of boosters if you order enough boxes. Sold and shipped by Walmart is always the safer route.
This does go to show you that the reprint of 151 seems to be very real. At the moment, anecdotally, stores are only receiving trickles of 151 product and what does get put on the shelf gets snapped up by collectors adding to their hoard almost instantly. The pictures of people buying entire displays of 151 poster collections are all over Reddit. Which is certainly… something.
I imagine The Pokemon Company is going to be printing 151 for several more years regardless of other factors. They’re going to milk the nostalgia out of people. So I wouldn’t worry about missing out on this 151 booster box sale, there will be another one!
